What it does

sqr.art is an artistic QR code generator that encodes your picture into the QR code itself—down to the data and error-correction bits—so the result stays fully scannable. Instead of pasting a logo on top of a standard QR, your image is woven into the code and verified by a real decoder before you download it. If it does not scan, it does not ship.

Upload a picture (JPEG, PNG, WebP, or GIF), then use the built-in visual editor to crop and fine-tune what matters. You can paint important areas and protect zones—such as a face or logo—that must remain pixel-faithful. Choose what the QR should contain: a link, WiFi access, or a SEPA bank transfer.

For link QR codes, sqr.art supports dynamic destinations: print the code once and change where it redirects later, so the same design can be reused across campaigns. You also get scan statistics with daily scan counts and a device breakdown, plus exportable CSV for dynamic QR codes.

For WiFi access codes, guests can scan your image and join the network; the credentials are engraved in the code and do not require a server. For payment QR codes, banking apps can pre-fill a SEPA transfer for tips, donations, or invoices, and the IBAN is never stored on servers.

Output is provided as PNG and print-ready SVG so the QR scales cleanly from small prints to large formats. For higher-volume needs, sqr.art offers Pro features such as unlimited QR codes and smart redirect rules, and Business features including an API, webhooks, batch generation, CSV export, and custom domains—supporting programmatic generation and notifications when codes are ready.

A free live preview lets you test scanning on your own phone before purchasing, and your design is saved during checkout so you can pay and download once you’re ready. Each purchased code is paid once and kept for life, with an account created automatically after payment (no sign-up required).
