What it does
Armature is product analytics built for the sessions your users run through AI agents—where the experience happens inside Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex, Gemini CLI, and other clients instead of in your UI. If your product is used through an MCP server, a Claude Connector, or a ChatGPT App backend, Armature captures those real user sessions so you can see what users asked for, what the agent did (including tool calls), and whether the user’s task was actually completed.
Add Armature by generating an API key and installing the SDK on your MCP server or agent-facing backend. The SDK wraps your existing server to capture sessions without changing how it behaves for users. After deployment, Armature rebuilds every session trace and automatically classifies and scores it.
Use Armature to understand demand and performance across agent usage:
• Learn top use cases: Models read each session, identify what the user came to do, and group sessions into use cases ranked by volume and success rate—including “not supported yet” requests. • Spot top issues: Models scan for failures, loops, and dead ends, group them by root cause, and rank them by how many users hit them—even when every API response was 200 OK. • Replay any session: Open a session and review the full trace—user intent, agent thinking, and every tool call—along with a score indicating whether the user got what they asked for.
Armature is designed for sensitive data in agent sessions. Detection models redact PII and secrets by default before anything reaches storage. You control retention and can delete data at any time, with custom options available for SSO/SAML, audit logs, and dedicated onboarding.
For teams shipping MCP tools or agent-integrated products, Armature provides a concrete way to debug real agent-driven customer experiences, prioritize what to build next, and reduce user-facing failure modes that traditional UI analytics can’t see because the interaction never touches your UI at all.
Pricing includes a Free plan with 1,000 sessions/month, unlimited projects and users, 7-day retention, dashboard access, session replay, use-case grouping, and issue identification. Usage beyond that is priced per additional sessions, with a Custom plan for higher-traffic needs.
