What it does
AI Visibility is a browser-based AI visibility checker that measures whether major AI assistants recommend (or omit) a given brand when people ask for category recommendations. The product focuses on a specific problem: buyers increasingly ask tools like ChatGPT or Perplexity what to use or buy, and the assistants typically name only a handful of brands. If your brand is not named, you can be effectively invisible even if you rank well in Google search.
To run a check, you enter a brand name and website. AI Visibility then builds prompts based on “the real questions people ask when they look for what you sell,” runs those prompts across multiple assistants, and evaluates the responses. It checks whether your brand is mentioned, and also notes which sites/domains are cited alongside the answers. Results are presented as an AI visibility score plus a detailed breakdown per platform.
The report is designed to be actionable and easy to share. It includes prompt-level details (the exact prompts tested and what each assistant said), marks the prompt gaps where your brand never appears, and shows which brands and sites appear instead—supporting competitor comparisons using the same workflow. The tool also supports check history so you can return over time and track movement in your score after publishing new content or running campaigns.
AI Visibility checks across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity in one run, with no configuration beyond entering the brand and website. The site states it’s free to run, and positions the output as a baseline you can monitor so you can identify where you are “dropping out of the conversation” and prioritize what to fix first based on the specific prompts and sources involved in AI answers.
Use cases listed include SaaS, ecommerce/DTC, local businesses, agencies, SEO professionals, startups, B2B companies, publishers/media, hospitality/travel, healthcare/clinics, law firms, real estate, finance/fintech, education/courses, consultants/coaches, and personal brands—anywhere customers might ask an assistant for recommendations before making a decision.
